A new sponsor of Meads Magic for 2022
We are delighted to welcome a new sponsor this year – DLF Electrical, a company based right here in Meads.
DLF has been advertising in Meads Matters our quarterly magazine for some time and it’s brilliant that Director Don Foster – who has also joined the MCA Committee – has made the decision to sponsor Meads Magic.
When asked what influenced him, New Zealander Don said, ‘‘A healthy community is built on small acts from many people, volunteers tidying up streets tending to gardens, helping those in need and organising events. Sponsoring Meads Magic is an opportunity to contribute to a local celebration but the best moment for me will be is seeing the faces of the children when Santa comes down the street.’

The Christmas Parade is always a Meads Magic highlight, and this year Santa has said that he would prefer to walk to his Grotto – in the Parish Hall so that he can interact directly with the crowd. He will be led by the Howlerz, our favourite group of local musicians and, as always, surrounded by his trusty elves from St John’s Primary School.
